Technically, nope. Don’t expect the same results.
You might be asking “why is this even an FAQ??”, but I’ve actually heard this question more often than you might think. While all eggs have the same basic components of fat, protein and water, the ratios of those components can vary greatly from one species of egg to the other. So while sure, you could add duck eggs to your cupcake instead of chicken eggs, don’t expect to get the same look, flavor and consistency. But really, who the hell is in a situation where chicken eggs aren’t the most readily available?
